CLEOPATRA ISLAND MARMARIS
Cleopatra Island is located 16 km from Marmaris city center. The island can be reached by boats start from Marmaris Marina and takes about 45 minutes to reach.
The island is also known as Sudair Island and its name draws attention from its distinctive golden beaches, as rumors say that Queen Cleopatra swam there. For this reason, the island known as Cleopatra Beach attracts attention with its charming nature and soft white sea sand, with the presence of a number of ruins dating back to the Roman era. There is a theater dating back to the Roman era and some remaining ruins surrounding the place with some olive trees.
